Lunchtime Aerobics

LifeFitness Elliptical, Level 6 Hill (Around the World): 5 min warmup, intervals of 1.5 minutes at >10 MPH and 1.5 minutes at >5 MPH for 20 minutes, 5 minute cooldown.

Weight yesterday morning: 238. Down a pound and a half. Not bad after Sunday's Playoff diet of pizza, pancit (Filipino version of chow mein) and root beer.

That's what the Air Force does, and I hear they use a dunk tank for body fat, too. BMI is not necessarily for athletes, either: a study of BMI in 2005 for NFL football players determined that a lot of them were obese. A few, yes, but a lot of them are fit and lean and still built like a brick house!!!

As I'm getting in better shape, the weight should drop off faster. But I also don't want it to be so fast that I go catabolic, either. I think I need a caliper test to start determining how much I'm gaining in muscle and losing in fat.

Silly, eh? If you're 31 BMI, scares me as to what I am.

Nice job on the continued weight loss, Alberto.
If my weight doesn't start going down soon, I'll find myself back doing cardio myself.
